Arch Wireless and Metrocall customers can visit https://myaccount.usamobility.com/. Select Manage Devices followed by Alias Maintenance, where you are free to create, modify, or delete vanity names.
You may also maintain vanity names by contacting Customer Care at customer.care@usamobility.com or by dialing the number on your invoice.

What Is A Vanity Name?
A vanity name can be used in place of the 10-digit phone number in your two-way address. Simply use your vanityname@usamobility.net, vanityname@airmessage.net, vanityname@my2way.com or vanityname@archwireless.net for e-mail addressing and your vanity name by itself for wireless addressing (two-way to two-way).
Having a customized wireless address makes it easier for your friends to remember. For example, instead of having an e-mail address like "2145551212@usamobility.net", "2145551212@airmessage.net", "2145551212@my2way.com" or "2145551212@archwireless.net", you can have "MarcSmith@usamobility.net", "MarcSmith@airmessage.net", "MarcSmith@my2way.com" or "MarcSmith@archwireless.net". And for two-way to two-way addressing, you simply use "MarcSmith" as the wireless address.
VANITY NAME ALERT!
If you are signed up for services, which require you to provide your wireless device address in a user profile, you must update that profile for these services with your new vanity name.
